The parcel number is the identification number of the parcel, and therefore of the land. It is determined by the land registry when the parcel is created and can be changed later.
What is a parcel number?
Parcel numbers are used in cadastral maps, land registry and in other cases where it is necessary to identify a piece of land precisely. A parcel number is also used to indirectly identify a building that is not registered in the land register or does not have an assigned house number.
Did you know that in the Czech Republic parcel numbers are always assigned in numerical series within the cadastral area? Moreover, there are two types of parcels in our country – building and land parcels, which sometimes exist side by side, sometimes the series is common.

How do I find out the parcel number?
Finding the parcel number is not difficult, you can do so on the website of the Czech Office of Surveying and Cadastre in the section Looking into the Cadastre.
